How to make Doodh Pedas(Milk Peda cookies) Step by Step!

Doodh Peda


Doodh  Pedas  are one of the most rich, delicious and classic Indian sweet recipe. It has a smooth & silky texture and it just melts in the mouth.






Here’s the easy & quick dessert recipe for you to try & enjoy..:)


Ingredients:



Homemade Paneer  - 1 big cup
Milk Powder  -1/3 cup
Milk  - 1 small cup
Unsalted butter  - 50 g
Sugar  - 1 cup
Cardamom Powder  - 1/4 tsp
Pistachios  - for garnishing

Method:



1. Melt butter in a non-stick pan:







2. Add milk to it:








3. Stir Well and allow to boil

4. Add milk powder and combine:












5. Now add Paneer and mix together: 








6. On Medium heat, allow the mixture to cook with continuous stirring:







7. Make sure the mixture doesn't burn at the bottom







8. Lower the heat and stir well, until the mixture thickens.

9. After 10 to 12 minutes , the mixture should be thick enough







10. Once the texture has turned into a soft dough, remove from stove








11. Transfer to bowl and let cool







12. One mixture is slightly warm, add Sugar and Cardamom Powder:





13. Knead the mixture to a smooth dough and forms a grainy texture.





14. Make small balls out of it and flatten it a tad bit:





15. Repeat the same with the rest





16.  Garnish with sliced pistachios:





17. When done, let rest for 20 minutes and ENJOY!
